Greetings Fellow Members! May is upon us and with it, yet another opportunity to attend a Region A rally! This month, we’ll be attending the South Carolina District’s “Salute to the Troops” Rally on May 15th, 16th & 17th, in historic Newberry, SC. Karen and I attended this one for the first-time last year and we really enjoyed the rally, as it was a lot of FUN in a very unique venue! I think I may have mentioned this before, but I’m going to say it again, Newberry is a small municipality that was founded in the late 1800’s and played a major role in the events of the Civil War. There are also more than 20 buildings that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As with many towns and cities, the area has gone through economic transitions, but now is going through a renaissance...
