Greetings All!!!

I find myself fresh off yet another Region A Rally and this one didn’t disappoint! The North Carolina District Rally was held in Brown’s Summit, which is located in the northern, central area of the state, just north of Greensboro. We carpooled up and had a great time. Lots of beautiful scenery and very interesting sights. NC District Director, Libby Jennings, hosted a great event and we had a LOT of FUN playing many different games, some of which I had never seen! Helmet Bowling was a hoot and I don’t know what to call the other one, where we sat 4 in a row blindfolded and had to dump a container of foam doughnuts over and behind your head, where the player behind you was waiting to catch as many as possible in another container, but smaller. It kept going, each time using an even smaller container and the team that had the most doughnuts in the last container won! It sounds deceptively easy, but it really isn’t! It’s just plain FUN. There were several high-quality vendors, hot dogs and lots of drawings. I won a whole bucket of chocolate covered almonds and Karen won a 50/25/25!
